After completing ASL 1 Package, you should be able to have a simple conversation, such as "Hi, how are you? My name is Jennifer." in a culturally appropriate way.

Gandalf Professor Michael Hesser
BIO: My triplet sisters and I were born Deaf and our entire family is hearing. The chances of that are extraordinarily slim! Our parents learned ASL as soon as it was discovered that we were Deaf and sent us to Nebraska School for the Deaf. After graduating from NSD, I attended Gallaudet University, the only university catered for the Deaf students in the whole world, where I obtained my Bachelors in Business Administration. I am currently a Masters student at Gallaudet University for Deaf Education.
HOBBY: Teaching and inspiring other people seems to be what I love doing the most so far.
